The club statement says that the 'PSR calculation which remains subject to change, pending the outcome of the appeal'.
Why is the PSR calculation subject to change? Are we not just appealing the severity of the penalty i.e. the 10 points and how the PL just picked that from the deep recesses of its arse.

Can someone explain to me how Chelsea aren't in breach?
Because they spent a billion over 8 years which is only 125m a year. Then they sold homegrown players so the whole amount comes off that 125m.... the problem for Chelsea is if they aren't successful they are creating a massive long term problem. They are deferring ffp problems and banking on being successful so to generate more money and not have to make more signings

"As a result - and because of the Premier League's new commitment to deal with such matters "in-season" - the club is in a position where it has had no option but to submit a PSR calculation which remains subject to change, pending the outcome of the appeal.
"The club must now defend another Premier League complaint which includes the very same financial periods for which it has already been sanctioned, before that appeal has even been heard"
This does not make me very confident as the club are frequently, almost every time tbh, completely fucking wrong.
The esk does give me a bit of confidence but I wonder if he's talking about the same thing. Where he says we have no broken P&S, and the club say "Pending outcome of the appeal"...I dunno, I'd expect him to err on the side of caution re the appeal but, maybe not.

Seems illogical to be punished up to three times for the same accounting failure.
Triple jeopardy….
Club statement making a large point in regards to this
PL basically said the first penalty was based on EFL rules, Everton have said “well EFL rules also state you can’t be punished for the same periods over and over, so are you basing this on EFL or not you bunch of pathetic cunts?”

Yeah, it concerns me that the club may have completely misread the rules. Hard to believe but not something that would come as a surprise under Moshiri's tenure.

Who's actually running things now?
Colin chong is interim CEO, who's actually making the decisions over all though? We just appear to be completely rudderless.

Disgrace this, these corrupt twats are properly after us here. They must know they've got a case and are going to fuck us over again. Appeal and new hearing will be hand picked stooges by the premier league, again.
Best case we might get a few points back from the first deduction and a lesser second deduction. 12 points or so, forest get a few points off them and we're still in the fight. It's a big worry though administration wise with the stadium etc if we go down.

I'm going to hide my head in the sand for the next few months until this is all appealed and completed. None of it makes sense and trying to get my head around the idea of rules to ensure sustainable finances being used to potentially bankupt clubs, for the same financial periods to be punished more than once, for limits to remain unchanged while costs rise, etc will only cause me too much mental stress.
The idea that all this is good for football is crazy and only strengthens the argument for outside oversight, the very thing the EPL wants to avoid.
