Surely they can't actually apply a punishment for the 2nd charge before hearing and ratifying our appeal for the 1st, it would be absolutely fucking unethical.

Not like they care, but if they fast tracked this then they can damn well finally get the appeal going which was logged in early December.

The statement on the OS suggests that this year automatically has to go to the independent appeal. I'd like to say that I hope they see reason but after the state of the first panel then I won't hold my breath.

So appeal will be settled with a week after the season ends? That is going to get very messy.

We would be better off having points deducted and knowing what we got to do and hopefully get the sort of reaction we got at the start of December, rather than plodding along as we are and then being stung for 5-10 pts once the fat lady has been driven from her singing venue by taxi back to her maisonette.

It’s difficult to even know what to say or think about it anymore.

We are effectively being punished for building a stadium.

This isn’t about shit players that we purchased many years ago and paying for past mistakes. We have one of the lowest net spends in the league, and it also isn’t on our wage bill anymore.

This is about the Premier Leagues stupid fucking rules and what is and isn’t allowed in the calculations.

I think there is an agenda against Everton at the Premier League. I find it difficult to come to the conclusion that you can freely charge someone for the same thing twice, (which is effectively what this is), AND BEFORE they have even ruled on the first offence.

It isnt even a conspiracy anymore. It stinks of an unregulated, all powerful, authoritarian entity making up the rules as they see fit, changing them when they see fit. And charging who they see fit to charge, whenever they would like to charge them.

Something or someone stinks. Especially as they are changing the rules after we get punished
