Probably got longer than he deserved, stubborn weirdo who had one way of playing and zero ability to adapt.

Bet the players hated playing for him!

I still think he's a very good manager. Wouldn't be surprised if he's successful elsewhere.

Please for the love of Leighton Baines, let it be Southgate who takes over.

Didn't Maresca just fall out with a clueless hierarchy?

He said he would never shift from a back 3 and then played a back 4 and yesterday a back 6. Laughable.

Amorim is just a symptom of deeper rooted issues at the club spanning back 20 years.

Talk of another caretaker until the end of the season. They almost make us under Moshiri look semi competent.

Darren Fletcher, isn't it?

Bit of a joke that. His two sons are in the 1st team squad as well, so no doubt they'll be getting picked!

The likes of Ugarte and the corpse of Casimero isn’t a midfield that’s gonna have you competing with the likes of Arsenal and City. Their squads are light years ahead.

Good coach, terrible leader.

I mean, the bloke is clearly a bit autistic (I am, so I can say it) - but even I was cringing during that penalty shoot out at Grimsby, when he’s sat on that drinks cooler, facing away from the pitch and rocking and ticcing his bollocks off. That’s not leadership. Most young footballers are just gonna think you’re a weirdo.

Sounds like Fletcher this week then a caretaker after that.

Southgate would win the first five games as caretaker, they'll give him a 10 year deal then sack him before Christmas when results go down the pan. :)

So is the caretaker going to be allowed to spend in the window? Just to then possibly leave in the summer? Really motivate the players knowing the caretaker will be off at the end of the season

Standard United planning going on, it’s great
