If Beto could finish he'd have 2 assists from the last 2 games
And if my aunty and a big hairy pair etc

If we're talking goals and assists that is relevant isn't it? If Wissa is on the end of that header against Palace then it's an assist and he's probably scoring the tap-in at City as well. Mbeumo would probably have zero assists in these two games for us with Beto.

£30m hardly gets you an average premier league winger these days.
He’s obviously worth more than that.

Yeah I'd say he's probably a £50m - £60m player right now, but to us he's worth more than that as we'd struggle to replace him for that kind of money.
We paid £32m for Dibling who isn't anywhere near his level just yet so any talk of £30m for Ndaiye is a bit mad.

He is just a special player that is difficult to compare to anyone. Little bit of Bernardo Silva mixed in with some silky skills and sharp turns. And then there is the work rate, commitment and versatility to play equally well on both wings.
He’s not going anywhere.

Wouldn't use our business as a yardstick for anything. Dibling a nice little player with a high ceiling and a kid...Ndiaye would be 26 by the time he gets bought..
I would say he's £50-£60m to us but I dunno if I'd wanna be buying him for that if I was someone else, uness I felt I could get much more out of him. Bottom 21st percentile in top European leagues for g+a. Top 95 percentile for take-ons.

Yeah not a like for like example, but if you're paying £32m for potential then Ndaiye would cost a lot more as a more finished article.
Anyway we agree on what his true value probably is even if we got there via different means.

A finished article isn't getting you <10 goal control buttons a year for £50-60m

Our best finisher, put him in the middle
Dibling, £32m; Ndiaye, twice that
