We probably can’t afford to sack him

This is really bad.

How does a team that relies on crossing the ball so much look so narrow.
I think that shape is a reflection of pumping it long to the striker, and getting everyone around him to win second balls, as our basic method of getting the ball up the pitch. Then if/when we win the 2nd ball, the players space out again and the wide players move wide.

Something needs to change here or we're going down.

You can’t cross the ball from the right places the way we set up you need full backs overlapping and wingers who can beat a man and get it in all our crosses are from deep positions even our corners are shite

Ive no clue about Watford but they are probably meant to be 1 of the top teams I'm that league. Is o Neil now at wolves?? He's just a good manager isn't he??

Why baines?? What do you like about him as a manager or is it just some random ex player. This type of appointment has been part of the problem.

Because Baines is probably the next option if Dyche and his bald contingent leave. No point getting a proper manager in before the summer and the seasoned managers that would come in now are charlatans.

Get rid of the dinosaur and it'll free the players up and give them a boost. Keep him and we're going down down down.

I don't think crossing the ball is an effective method of scoring anymore is it? Unless you have a freak like KDB or TAA in the team, I think it's just basically a hopeful punt. Teams seem to be quite happy dealing with that. Most managers seem to coach getting to the byline and cutting the ball back for players breaking into the box to create decent chances. Can't think of many teams whose primary method is ''toss it into the mixer and see what happens''. Managers who coached a lot of that seem to have faded out of the game.

So baines for absolutely no reason at all.

Baines because it gets rid of Dyche. It doesn't matter whether it's Baines or anybody else in a coaching capacity at the club. We're talking 8 matches here, not the next the next 6 seasons.

But if people want Dyche to take us down and embarrass us along the way then fair enough. Can't believe we've already won our last premier League match at Goodison. Crazy.

I 100% would rather Sean dyche managed the rest of the season than Leighton Baines.

It’s a ridiculous suggestion. There’s so much more to it than let’s make a change for the sake of it and try to get a bump.
