Did well today, we didn't miss Tarks and everything looked very comfortable. If we'd not been here before numerous times we'd be thinking he's worthy of another deal.

Unfortunately he's not, although as 4th choice CBs go he's a good one, but we can't afford his wages for a 4th choice CB and I doubt he'd want to stay as that when he can play regularly elsewhere if he drops down a level.

Nice to see him score and have a good game though.

Think he might end up either at Burnley or Leeds

It's still crazy to me he's the same age as Tarkowski. They carry completely different levels of maturity on the pitch.

I dont hate him. I do hate what seeing his name on the teamsheet does for my mental health.

It's just like in relationships, once the trust is gone it's over.

This is exactly how I feel. I still like the lad and he’s got bags of great qualities. Should go reinvent himself as a deep-lying, defence-screening, attack-breaking playmaker in Europe somewhere and have a few seasons of winning stuff. Would do wonders for him. Burnley to Walton is not far to travel and it shows.

When hes a regular in the team he'll have 4 out of 5 games being a very good centre half, then that 5th game he'll cost us with a clanger.

Not being a regular has made the bad games more frequent when he does come in.

Think I'd go with 3 very good, 1 sub par, 1 abysmal out of 5. ;)

If we're talking 4th choice CB, I dont want to see us spend a fortune tbh. Resign him on favourable terms, add another 10k pw on Branthwaite's offer, tick the vacant position off the team sheet and focus the transfer budget on areas of the starting XI that needs strengthening.

Yeah we don’t need to spend big on CB, so this makes sense to me

More important to sort the full back positions out, and then the other bits we all know about

Can’t be arsed with this at all but whatever.

Just got to accept it and try not to be a petulant child but it will be hard for me.
