Yeah no surprises there, was always going to be McNeil over Dibling given the opposition we're facing.

Grim without Ndiaye, Gueye, and KDH.

That's the plastic sheets to make the seat display of the waves and the crest outline.

Tifo wires are in place to support some sort of giant banner that will be lifted up in front of the seating, presumably as design in the shape of the crest (it's been mentioned that the machine to do this costs about £500k to install to the roof, so the club must have picked this up).

I don’t follow the logic, Dibling is very press resistant and basically spent last season picking up the ball in his own half as the furthest man forward as the out ball

Rearguard action here. Low block. Don’t concede and try to frustrate them. Pinch something.

Stranger things have happened than us beating them tonight but my goodness it’s not looking good with that line up.

Need to be at 110% tonight and hope they have a stinker.

I think McNeil comes in for his defensive capabilities.

Will need to help out O'Brien whether it's against Trossard or Martinelli later in the game.

It's a shame we can't be more front foot, but looking at the line up I think it's pretty obvious what sort of game it's going to be.

Why do I get the feeling this is gonna be one of those moyes classics, backs to the wall with loads of key players missing and pulling out a result.

I feel this is where moyes usually shines.

Mainly experience and understanding positional sense requirements against a team that can't be afforded any space.

He's the defensive option which Moyes will go for over someone more likely to create something but not be as defensively solid, especially against much better opponents.

We're losing either way so I'm not saying I prefer this, just it was always what Moyes was going to do.

Dibbling was a dumb signing. In terms of what we needed. In terms of the cost. In terms of the rush for no reason. No terms of moyes not wanting to play him.

Him coming here and not playing won't remotely help his development. He might get minutes this month but he'll be back to nothing after that.
