Hasn't there been a strong push for independent regulation of the Prem?
So this is the Prem trying to demonstrate (by treating little old Everton like absolute cunts) that they are on top of financial regulation of the league, and they don't need an independent overseer?
Honestly it's outrageous.

There's going to be an absolute riot when they announce City are being fined 100k. I'll be down at the PL headquarters myself.

Anyone know who it was the only time a club has survived premier League relegation after being on 4 points having played 12 games?
Sorry, the only *other* time.
Us? 1994-95 season?
Won the cup as well that year

Villa and Fulham be bricking it, they’re the right size to get a hefty deduction as well
City, Chelsea and United will get away with it though

That's the one.
Side-eyeing Fulham and starting to think it's not the end of the run

FFP or P&S is a fucking racket anyway.
It's in place to ensure that clubs can't leap forward and compete with the richest clubs in the country. It's anti-competitive. And we're being docked 10 fucking points for falling slightly outside of this completely arbitrary set of rules that's in place to keep the richest entrenched at the top.
The nerve of these people. It's like Epstein. Yeah, you know that we killed him, everyone knows. What are you gonna do about it?

Genuinely fuming the more this sinks in.
Trying their best to relegate us really aren’t they.
And the fact that you know it won’t be applied evenly or at all in the future is just the extra kick in the nuts.

Probably won’t be the last deduction we face if they approve the Ponzi scheme buyers known for missing payments

As much as this ruling deserves our wrath, let's be careful not to forget that the club has admitted it did breach the Premier League's rules. There is anger to be directed back at Moshiri also.

Exactly what I was thinking. We have been handed the most severe punishment in Premier League history for overspending by £20m, something that 10 years ago wouldn't have even been an issue. What they're saying is that the worst thing a Premier League team has done is overspend by £20m. Forget that silly little super league thing, forget Newcastle because owned by a murderous state, forget Chelsea handing out 8 year contracts and spending £100m each on 724 players, forget Man United spending an absurd amount whilst simultaneous being in a billion pounds worth of debt... The worst thing a club has done is overspend by £20m. That's without even getting into what Man City will get away with.

Yeah we’re also getting done for a shitload of compensation from other clubs
