Pisses me off that it is just PL stats.
I know, I know, that’s coz it’s PL posting it.
Still pisses me off. Also pisses me off that almost all of the footballing honours that make me proud of this club belong to a bygone era which most people find irrelevant these days.
Could not agree more. There's a century of football history slowly being eradicated. Even online searches for stats now default to PL era. What a horrible, disgusting, whitewashing of football history we're seeing. I'd encourage anyone to never reply to any PL stats post anywhere, and maybe create some all-time ones to try and redress the balance. Like you said Toddacelli, this affects Everton as our main successes are pre-PL, but I also have the interests of other clubs at heart here: Preston, Wednesday, Sunderland, Huddersfield...all great achievements in pre-PL days.

Sadly anything we did of that nature would have the same effect as a fly on a horse’s arse. Money talks and the PL is a solid gold steamroller.

Barry Glendenning just called Goodison a dump on the Guardian podcast.
Not promoting violence at all, but the way he's been going I wouldn't be suprised to hear about someone punching the dour old sad sack in the conk.
Said it in such a dismissive way too. Arrogant self-important prick. Disgrace. Only possible excuse was he sounded like he was half to 3/4 pissed. Not the first time from him.

He’s a bitter, drunken, old fool who thinks being dismissive about everything is cool.
Baffling how he still has a job on that podcast. He is horrid to listen to.

The name Barry Glendenning makes him sound like a character in a sketch show.

Heard so many say 'Dye-sh' that it seems weird to hear him say it will a real 'ch'.
Also where is Dom doing his video from? Ok, maybe from 2022ish...
