Newcastle Forward, Yankuba Minteh has an agreement with Everton and still favours a move there.
Lyon has offered €40M for him and Newcastle must make a sale by the 30th of June

I'd absolutely piss myself if it meant them getting a points deduction and then we got him on the 1st July.

Be interesting to see how this plays out. With Newcastle reportedly needing a sale before 1st July.
They might he forced into it.

We can’t afford to buy him unless they sign DCL though, so unless they re-think our asking price it’s not happening

Not sure about the quality of the source, especially AS by all accounts we no longer need to sell for PSR assuming Godfrey leaves

If Dobbin covered the PSR gap, then £12m for Godfrey would cover us for Minteh on a 5yr contract (£40m/5 being £8m this year) and still give us some extra
