"Fast-tracking players, in my experience, doesn't end well, so we want to fast-track them but cleverly fast-track them – not just push them through games programmes they're not capable of. They need to come into the side when they're fit, properly fit, because you can't deliver performances in the Premier League unless you're properly fit. I've experienced enough to know when you've short-tracked people into the team, they find it very difficult to find their form.
"They literally started with the team last week. They've done background work and support work with the sports science team, fitness work but only two days of actual football training, so they're going to need more than that, that's for sure."
Reading the whole article it's hard to argue with that, after all he's got DCL back playing regularly when everyone else failed due to not rushing him back and having patience with his rehabilitation

Probably next Int break or next who knows, , could be doomed by then, nor do I think Jarrad is the answer to this whole mess either

Remember the Tark - Coady back line? Or Keane Tark v1?
Exactly the same result. Shite. Drop a £60m+ CB into the backline it WILL improve.

Playing for the U21s this afternoon, doubt he’ll get 90 mins under his belt but could make the bench for next week.

Playing with and against a load of lids who’ll be working at the Asda in 18 months. Could play 90 mins in his slippers.

It’s nothing to do with the quality of the opposition, it’s about managing his recovery.

Played 90 minutes for the U21s, surely involved for Palace next weekend.

It will boost the confidence of the whole squad having him back in the side. They all know how good he is, not just defensively but also on the ball.
