It’s a tough one and could go the other way but there’s a very valid reason for why it hasn’t been given.
I agree. It's not a clear pen for me. He's grabbing the defender's shirt as well.
Think the BBC studio are getting a bit carried away with emotion.

Nah it's a penalty, his knee hits Armstong's calf and that takes his leg away from him.

Listened to a bit of 5live last night and Angus Gunn gave the most unsympathetic interview I’ve heard considering how bad that looked.

Much as I rate Spalletti, I just don't rate this Italian side.
Very middling generation of players with a couple of standouts in Barella and Bastoni. Even the bench isn't great.

Croatia have been really poor this group. All Italy so far, Croatia need to pick it up. Not like there aren't some decent players in their side.
