Not many come from any leagues and become top scorers in the PL. If you look at most of the decent strikers in the PL they've either spent most or all of their career there or come from an overseas league at an early age. He'll end up back at Rangers in a season or so for half the fee after we've paid up his contract.

If we get him I hope he's great but it's not coincidence that players from the same league struggle to even get noticed in more competitive leagues. We wouldn't want the top scorer in League one so why this fella.

Can see us just getting a couple of average bodies in but I would LOVE a random last minute signing of someone who I’m excited about.

Not going to lie but I’ve missed the old transfer day scrambles and not knowing if we’d get anyone then a random player coming in. After all the disappointing signings since we came in to money I’m craving a bit of nostalgia
