He was briliiant for Rangers but we didn't sign him from there anyway, he was at Real Sociedad when we signed him and he'd struggled there.

His time in Scotland probably made him the player he was for us as well.

There was no bedding in with Arteta. He was great from the off and fully realised you have to have a bit about you to play in the premier league and fully embraced that side of it. He was as good off the ball as he was on it.

We’ve had a lot of good players from Scotland in the premier league so it doesn’t bother me signing players from there.

Don't love the sound of him being a touch slow and no good in the air. But tenacious, strong, good chest, good link up, dribbler, shots in good areas...all big pluses.

Nah, I think he’s still trying to get over the fact we bought Nathan Patterson instead of James Tavernier.

I watched an interview with moyes from a few months ago and he said it, not in those exact words but more or less
