So a decent performance from the starters, featuring 2-4 players Moyes is trying to send to the bench or out on loan (Iroegbunam, Alcaraz, probably Garner, possibly O’Brien just so he can play his natural position)?

Have to get some deals done (we need a bit of depth in addition to those upgrades) but I still think we’re a solid enough team.

Horrible, uninspiring preseason, but the residue of who we were under Moyes last season is still there and that was a fairly good team.

Our gain but you wonder why these clubs waste all their money on goalkeepers when Pickford is right there

Not starting JOB would be madness. We also should be cautious with Tarks.

Garner seems like a David Moyes player. Maybe having a pre-season working together will kick him on.

Garner has impressed me in this game. Slowly growing in stature.

to be fair it's hardly surprising our strikers don't score with absolutely zero service

Playing in a 3 has helped him too.

2-2 it ends.

Glad to not have ended on another loss, even if it doesn't super matter.

For large periods we looked much more competitive. Garner MOTM?
