He had a very good game, but in the 8 mins that Broja played he showed Dom up. A striker that can be a threat physically but can also play football.
Looking forward to seeing Broja more if he keeps fit. Broja and DCL together?

Miles ahead of Beto technically his hold up ability and runs are of a very high standard just needs the finishing to click

DCL
Broja
Chermiti
Beto
That’s the order of the strikers now.
Got enough there to send Cherms out on loan I think.
Broja could be the DCL replacement if he can do well in the coming months.
He’s better than DCL imo. Just needs to stay fit to show it.

£30m the option to buy isn't it?
Seems reasonable in today's market. It's just whether we have it

Wouldn’t pay that tbh but think we could get it down to 15-20m.
Would have to show decent form for us.

I'm not sure our negotiating hand is that strong if he performs well for us!

They'll want north of £25m plus , is he worth that who knows , I wouldn't class him better than DCL ,
Other than looking decent for Southampton. Got age on his side though

At £25m you have to be confident of not making a loss on him (insurance covered injury permitting).
At the agreed price though, it isn't quite as clear cut.

532 with Dom left and Broja right.
3 solid mids behind.
NDiaye/Tim rotate againat tired legs.

Give them Beto as a straight swap

What I have chosen to take from this is Spurs spent a right lump on Solanke this summer and DCL is better.

I was surprised to see Solanke that low

Shame we didn’t get more of the DCL/Maupay double act!
Anyway, bring me Tammy Abraham for £35m!
