Thought we were decent first 60 minutes before the initial changes. Pretty sure O'Brien will be playing at RB this season. Need to pray Branthwaite and Tarkowski keep their fitness together. Bit of competition at LB at least. Think the front 6 that started the game worked relatively well but Tim will need to be replaced, so hopefully we have a CM come in before the season starts. Beto our clear Number 1 striker for better or for worse.

How is Fernandes trying to explain it away as an accident, he lunged and kicked him.

Given how pre season has gone so far that wasn’t actually too bad
Though a bit of our game plan does seem to be based around James ‘Tom Brady’ Garner and those Quarterback passes from deep
Didn’t mind Aznou when he came on!

But for a dodgy pen could have won that

Need some new faces in and get a feel good factor going for the Roma game.

We could run 4-3-2-1? Isn't that the "Inverted Christmas Tree?"

A fair result probably, although we probably shaded it overall. Much better, I’m glad we’ve had top flight opposition this pre season rather than lower league or teams we’ve never heard of.

I've put a load of money on us to lose in varying different ways. Hoping it will pay for my trip to London next week.
condolences, mate.

Yeah they were all played at a decent intensity as well, so I'm sure Moyes learned a lot. Even though it was mostly just worrying. We have a capable enough XI but beyond that we're in trouble. There's about 5 players where we'd be utterly fucked if even 1 of them got injured.

Barring a signing I think it will be JOB at RB. I think it generally suits the way we play with the extra height too.

At least Moyes (and the club) seems aware of that though so it's just whether we can bring the extra quality in to be able to manage injuries and such.

Well. That’s that. Heard a shout a page or so back for Garner as MOTM - with sick in my mouth, I can’t say it’s a terrible shout but still Ndiaye for me.

Tim was awful. Mcneil was terrible.
Aznou looked exciting. Ndiaye is a dream. Beto looks decent enough. Armstrong looked good a couple times. Garner was much better.

Interesting that Moyes doesn't fancy McNeil as a starter with the current squad depth.
