He's played like a tiny amount minutes. Impossible to say anything other than it'll be interesting to see what he can do when he gets a few full games.

Very good at keeping the ball. Mostly last night it was by passing backwards.
Could do with not being afraid of losing it by trying to create something going forward.

Agree, all you can see for now is that he’s physically and technically capable of playing at this level - will take a while for the mental side of the game to show itself.

Let’s also remember that his first move away from home to Chelsea didn’t go well and he got homesick - he probably needs some time to settle in to the city

Very tentative against Wolves, wasn't helped by the poor team selection. He's clearly got all the attributes to be a top player, his ceiling is very high. Give him minutes off the bench here and there, might get more opportunities as a result of injuries/suspensions. Once he gets a bit of confidence, he'll be flying.

Has to be getting to the point were he starts a game. Need something different

Get him in, drop KDH.

Get Jack in the middle and Ndiaye back out on the left.

Tidy cameo I thought. I hope we consider playing him, Ndiaye and Grealish next one with KDH out.

40m sub and no right back. Nothing to do with him as a player but what a crazy attempt at team building.

I agree in part, but if we'd have got a right back instead of Dibling, we wouldn't necessarily have got Dibling at all, and he's the type of player, if not exactly *the* player we'll need next season and onwards, as Grealish may not continue, or if he does he'll be the other side of 30.

It's as much about who we can get as when we can actually get them in. And I think having Dibling in and learning from Jack now isnt a bad thing at all. He'll get game time this season undoubtedly.

We obviously haven't replaced or even had real competition for Seamus when we should have ten times over, but the new mob havent been here long, neither have their backroom staff, so I think we need to give them a chance to get their feet under the desk, even if 'making do' doesnt look as good as the finished article at the moment, it was bound to one way or the other.

Agree what you're saying but I don't think hes the player you do it for. Not sure hes that sure of a thing (to be elite) wasn't a great demand for him so there's every chance we could have picked him up at a later date, the price was quite high and his contract was running out. In a whole load of ways we probably should have and could of waited and it could very well have led to a lower fee

I'm just waiting until summer (or winter) when we pick up a perfectly scouted and brilliant fullback to overlap on the right of Dibling (or Iliman), working in well with our left side (a bedded in Aznou and Grealish) and we're actually climbing the table truly through quality play.

Options basically, and no holes for the first time in a decade. We'll get there.

Of the clubs above & around us, not many need or would take the risks that we need to in order to compete. If we'd not picked up Dibling I'm pretty sure he wouldn't still be there this time next season before someone else went for him. A punt is ~30m these days.

The holes are just so incredibly frustrating. Things are obviously getting better but the right back situation just seems like us continuing to refuse to be competent. The amount of money we've wasted on awful strikers is painful but least we tried to fix a problem. I think it's criminal that we've signed multiple subs before trying to fix the issue at right back. Just a really frustrating evening

Trying not to be an apologist, but have there been many we've missed out on? Tete seemed to just be using us for better coin at Fulham, but I'd definitely have had him. Not sure I'd have had many of the others. Not saying there arent any out there, dont know really...

Long term we might be delighted we did this, but people understandably will be annoyed we haven't addressed more pressing issues right now.

No KDH next game so might be time to move Grealish central, Ndaiye left and Dibling right... At the moment he's just an expensive sub when we needed other positions priotised, but if he comes in and does well we might start seeing more logic behind this as a long term benefit.

He’s also got the next game too as Grealish is missing, so Ndaiye left with KDH as 10 and Dibbo right.
