That said, if we lose Thelwell (as is being whispered) - we are fucked regardless. Dyche will spend whatever money we have on "yard dogs" and dig an even deeper hole away from modern football.

He is on a par with Mike walker at the moment if he doesn’t get them to win tomorrow do we just leave him to plod along hoping the bottom 3 keep dropping points
Walker won six games in 35 and was sacked when we were bottom of the league. Dyche has won 8 in 30 and so far we have not been bottom of the league despite a six point deduction.

We’d get another director of football in.
And the whispers come from a man who has a very, very questionable record when it comes to ITK stuff about the club.

Yeah get that but will you still back him if we don’t win tomorrow and this run continues its fine saying he has his hands tied which I would argue about in certain contexts but why hasn’t he tried something different or changed tactics when it’s obviously not working

Rightly or wrongly, I've learned to read "silences" here - and nobody pushed back on the Thelwell thing.
I'm not even the world's biggest Thelwell fan, but I'm no more keen to see the hollowed-out executive structure try to find and hire a new DoF than I am a manager.

Are you suggesting that he should be sacked tomorrow if we don’t win ? Who has the authority and the funds to do so ?
Who are you proposing we get in for what’s left of the season that has any decent track record ? Or should we just calm down and leave the bed sheets on the bed for the time being.

100% should be sacked if we lose tomorrow. He's taking us down if that happens. You have to do something to stop it.

“Should be” yes in a different universe but unfortunately not in the one that we are currently living in.
Who sacks him with what and who is going to improve things in say the last six matches ?

Caretaker manager. You've got to change something. Lose tomorrow and we won't win again this season. If Duncan Ferguson can take 4 points from Chelsea and Man United then that's the sort of boost we can get from freeing the players from Dyche-ball.

Moshiri doesn’t have the will nor the money to sack him so it’s a moot point.

Maybe nobody pushed back on the Thelwell thing because they don’t place as much credibility in such whispers as you do?

What is thelwell job is it not the boss of all footballing activities in the club surely he has to be in contact with 777 or moshiri or whoever is in charge this guy is taking us down like what was said above a new boss new freshness to the football is what we need surely it’s in dyche contract that if he is performing so poorly he can be sacked for a certain level of compensation

Haven’t heard anything myself but according to Ram some supposedly not very credible ITK said something about him wanting to jump ship.
