Just tried and failed to get my last ever game in at Goodison Park, with the City game.
Was in the waiting room for the queue 10 minutes beforehand.
Took me to the front eventually to say no tickets left. Gutted.

Been the case for a few weeks now. Bots are taking all the tickets. Don't worry, there'll be 100+ on stubhub later for 250 euros minimum.

One of my mates in work questioned whether it's fair they continued selling memberships right up to now.
So people who got on yesterday is able to just potentially grab a ticket.

Sad, isn't it?
I didn't make the most of my last game there

Yeah, it's rubbish. Not sure what else we can do.
Last time I was able to go was when we lost 3-1 to Fulham a couple of years ago - came away thinking we were definitely going down. It was also the last match I ever went to with my Dad, so while I'm desperate to see one more match at Goodison, maybe it's fate or serendipity or whatever stopping me?

Probably not, I've got massive problems with the whole process tbh. You're basically spending £35 to enter a raffle where there's a significant chance you'll not get a prize. Then you've got the bots that the club have done nothing to stop. You've got the ticket touts that the club have done nothing to stop.
If they give a fuck then they would have made the threshold those with x amount of previous purchases in x time frame but the club are just happy to take the £35s and make their money.

That was my last chance as I am away 1st May.
Hopefully we both get some on the resale

Yeah that's it. If they staggered it like away games. A lot of people wouldn't want to buy the membership, as they would think they wouldn't have a chance

I've had my membership for the last however many years and it has been well worth it. My sister and I have managed to get to 6/8 games per season ish and quite often sit together.
This season though has been three games and since Moyes came back, it has been a waste of time. West Ham I got to the front of the queue and on for 10.09am to see not even a single restricted view ticket left.
I wouldn't mind missing out as I obviously don't go every week if there weren't then tickets on resale sites for exorbitant money almost instantly.
The fact none of you on here are doing any better makes it feel worse too.
Doing a stadium tour with the girls on 14th April. That'll be my last visit I think and I'll sob I reckon.
We've got a stone at Bramley Moore and obviously will go but I don't have any urgency as the place doesn't mean anything to me. If it was the New Year before I got to my first game there I wouldn't be too mithered.

It's pretty poor that they're still selling membership on the OS. £35 here and there isn't going to make one bit of difference to the club's finances but it's taking money off people who will see it as their only chance of ever getting to Goodison again when in reality the chances are it's £35 down the toilet.

Since Moyes came back it's went silly.
I was able to the a ticket for the Bournemouth 1 nil, last game of the season pretty easy the other year.
I've been to 7 games including cup games this year. So I guess i haven't done too badly.

Yeah, the membership system is a decent one (and i assume they will remain in place as a process for Bramley Moore - so there's no reason to stop sale).
As with all live events nowadays though, it's the resale platforms that make you fume more at the "scarcity". Of course every member is going to try to go to one last game.
But the cunts that are buying just to flip and make a profit need sorting out.

The thing that annoys me most is the huge number of tickets that are already on sale for exorbitant prices for the Southampton game. These clearly haven’t been bought by memberships as tickets haven’t gone on sale yet. Only conclusion is that there must be a load of season tickets in the hands of touts? Or someone from the club is leaking tickets to these guys?

That's terrible, that.
