Would personally love it if we managed to land him for a season. Think his situation has been harshly compared to Deles and people making out that he’s been a full on distaster at City and that he’s some sort of raging alcoholic
Guardiola has stifled him the past year or so.
Super talented player who would be a game changer for us

if he wants to come and the finance side is doable just get it done . Not arsed now ,
When Pep falls out with players every one bangs on , oh the players shite now etc, can't ever be Pep at fault. Yeah he's a bit of Jack the lad , but for me just needs to be the main man again. All this Tiki-taka play is wasted on Grealish

If he agrees to drop his wages, it's a pants drop from me

World Cup year. Lots to prove. He would be our best player by a country mile. Get the little turncoat signed up!

If we do the business we need to do and this is a cherry on top of the cake, i wouldn't write us off pushing for Europe.

If we sign him, we still need a right mid. That should be the priority IMHO. I also don't want us to spunk £12m on a loan. If we can negotiate City down on that, play him in the 10 and sign a RM I'll be ecstatic

Will be very hard to get done without City continuing to pay a big chunk of his wages.
Cant be bringing players in on £300k a week with loan fees.
If we can get then to cover half his wages and a loan fee of a more reasonable £5m or so then I can see it happening. That seems unlikely to me though, I can't recall City doing that with other players.
Phillips was a huge amount of money for West Ham and he was a much worse player in probably worse condition than Grealish.
Would love him here though, would be great fun and I think he'd be in a great environment to succeed.

Perfect for a loan. And I think it would be worth spending a bit to make this happen. It would instantly take our attack up a level from where it is now, and also N’Diaye to move into the middle without sacrificing on quality.
We would also have able deputies in Alcaraz and McNeil alongside one or two further reinforcements, perhaps allowing Armstrong to go out on loan.
This is a World Cup year and Grealish knows he needs to play regularly to get in the squad. Therefore he will be leaving City and given we are only 30 miles away and need quality players, I think we are nailed on for this.
