20 goals in 34 league appearances last season + 6 in 12 Europa league ties.

7 in the 15 league this season, but 0 in 6 in the Europa league.

Decent numbers but impossible to judge anything really given the league he's playing in.

Mind you he got 16 in 33 in La Liga 23/24 so maybe actually a good bags man.

Forest also interested, so maybe Dyche will save us again.

If this means moving Beto on it makes sense. Option to buy means we can have a look at him and the fee isn't particularly high if he did impress and we went for it. Age profile not great, but who cares if he came in and started scoring, our current two strikers have just 5 goals between them this season.

Is Fabrizio reliable these days? Doesn't he spout shite like most of them now?

Probably allows us to sell Beto doesnt it.

Looks like he occupies defenders and holds up the ball well. Which we do desperately need sadly.

He's definitely not as reliable as he used to be, he gets things wrong often now and seems to chase clicks over reliable news.

Yeah this is potentially an astute bit of business. Get this lad in and move Beto on, that would appear to be an immediate short term upgrade based on the info I've read on En-Nesyri - reasonable scoring record in Spain and appears his all-round game is decent. Wouldn't take much on that front to be an upgrade on Beto.

But if he gets here and he's not up to it, then we don't take up the option and look at better options in the summer.

I'm not saying this is what's happening, but it would make some sense potentially. My initial reaction to the link was that I didn't like it, but I can see how actually it might be a good move in our current situation.

Yeah id be fine with the loan first. Nothing can be as bad as Beto unfortunately.

We need to do something don't we, needs must. I'd personally rather it be an old reliable head who knows the league on a short term contract but I'm a 53 year BI manager from Rainhill so what do I know

Looks better than what we currently have

Loan with option to buy seems decent deal as well
