Never really cared for the him and said it plenty so I'm not going to change now but thoughts are with his family.

Shame the narrative is now that he did a great job but was hounded out the club and all Evertonians should be ashamed of ourselves.

Still very sad of course.

Can't deny that but he ruined us, shame this is mainly how he will be remembered.

His problem was simply hanging on too long.

Didn't love the man at all, he treated my daughter like a princess though and for that I'm grateful

Sad for his family and he seemed to have a good relationship with a lot of people, including the players. I don't doubt his love for Everton.

Reflecting on his stewardship of the club, he stayed on about 15 years too long and really that was only through his own stubbornness and arrogance.

RIP Bill - He had a vision for Everton that did not match the changing world of football and despite meaning well has ultimately left us in a very precarious position.

Was indeed sad news. Thoughts are with his family and friends.
I have my thoughts on his running of the club but now’s not the time.

bizarrely did a favour

The fans turned on him rather than a few having a go at Bill

RIP boss. Regardless of anything else, no one can accuse the man of not caring about the club, and I thank him for saving us from Peter Johnson.

RIP Bill.
Heart was in the right place, and thankful he got rid of Johnson, but his job then was to hand over to someone who could run the club properly, he dropped lucky with Moyes, but even that was down to Walter Smith. Sad way to go.

Despite what anyone may think about the utter shambles that has been Everton's board over the past few years, Bill Kenwright oozed class, dignity and humanity. He knew the right things to do and the right things to say. He was a gentleman who loved Everton FC, perhaps even a little too much.
His speech at the memorial at Anfield summed him up as a human being. He was passionate and human.
I may not have liked the way the club has been run in recent years, and every single member of the board bears their own slice of responsibility for that, but as a human being, he was a gentleman.

RIP Bill
