Hi,
I've joined for me and my son (15). Our pack arrived today but only has a member card in my name. I'm assuming it's because of his age, but just wanted to check. Also, will this give us access to match tickets?

I've had mine today as well. The last couple of seasons my daughter's has come at a different time as she is in a different age category.

Yes it does give you access to match tickets a couple of days early and last year, it didn't limit me to tickets in her age group either as I bought two adult tickets for me and a mate to one game using mine and the little un's membership

Would be nice if they knocked off a fiver from the price and kept the stuff they send out like.

They've changed it this year to digital members with x amount of home tickets from last year get first priority which has made it a bit pointless

It's people who've been to 15 games so it shouldn't be too bad. Were in the second priority and got tickets for Bournemouth fairly easily although it's in the upper away section so it may be harder against teams that take their full allocation.

Thanks blues. It's so different now, but the days of me going literally everywhere, home and away are gone. I just want my lad to go as many as possible this season because it's the last and he's only recently infected with the curse but he loves us. Thanks again

Hi again... I'm a bit disappointed with it. I have a level of ticket rights above none at all. Tried to buy tickets and was notified I can't because I'm basically nobody. I bet I'll be Mr Restricted view aka can't sell them level... My lads gutted

Remember the days when you could pay cash at the turnstile !

I also can't find the page that tells you when the tickets go on sale. I don't know if I am being stupid or not

They're rewarding members who went to 15 or more games last season by giving them early access, overall very few people will fall into that category though. The club guarantee that the tickets won't sell out on the first day they're on sale but in reality most tickets that go on sale now are restricted anyway. It's not great but there's 52k members so they had to do something the give the more loyal fans a chance to get to Goodison rather than touts or people who'd never been members the same access as people who'd paid it for years.
