Did himself proud today, stood up well and timed his tackles well, must start next week.

He was decent... It doesn't change the fact we need a new RB, but he was better than Holgate would have been by some distance.
Credit to the lad for coming in and not looking lost out there, but he's not the solution and it's quite damning that he's been asked to play at all.

He did okay. Probably helped that he was up against Odobert making his debut rather than Son for most of the game. Still lost 4-0 and didn't have a lot going forward.
Glad he didn't have a stinker but still fully expect Young back in next week.

Didn't think he was anything special, more that he's proof why youngsters rarely get thrown in. Didn't really do much good or bad of note but the only thing I do remember is him coming out with ball, giving it away on the half way line then just jogging back, I thought a young player keen to impress would have bust a gut to try and win the ball back but he didn't.
Not an easy situation for him to come in to though.

He was fine, no improvement noted on anyone else at right back but he's 19

Did well.
Would be disappointed if young starts next week but would also enjoy the meltdowns.

I might be wrong, but I thought closing Van De Ven down and leaving Son open for the 3rd goal was the wrong decision.
He is 19 though, looks to have the right attributes and attitude to be very good player. Tripper in and a loan for Dixon should be the aim.

yes I thought that too when he jogged back. There were a couple of errors, but that was to be expected. I’d still play him over Young, until one of the others are back or we get Trippier in.

We’ve got Patto getting splinters in his arse, don’t need Dixon there, too.
