Interestingly, and just to show how shit we are in this arena, I was watching a short clip about the top paid player in the championship over the previous 8 years, and unsurprisingly our players came top for 2 of the 8 years. Bolasie at Middleborough and Holgate this season at West Brom. All the other players were generally from teams relegated, like Vardy at Leicester, but it just reminded me how we have given really poor players over inflated contracts

JH will be on a Leeds contract so we will be paying his wages (or a decent portion of them).
As far as I'm aware, many of the contracts have incentives for appearances, wins and goals etc on top of their basic wages, which is probably why DMc's look low in comparison, so the reality is the players are on much more than published.
