Can they get 6 points and avoid us being the answer to a quiz question?

This weekend at Ipswich is one of their best chances. Lose there and there is a danger they completely chuck the towel in. They haven't of recent in fairness and in their last 3 games - 2-3 at Forest, 1-3 v Newcastle that easily could have been 2-3 and the fact they led v Man United after 80mins suggest they aren't miles off picking up points.

A loss this weekend and they would be in danger of it but I certainly feel they are better than that Derby side overall. They were absolutely embarrassing but to be honest, my major concern with this thread is a scenario where they arrive at their last away game needing a win to avoid this ignominy and we have brought a curse down upon ourselves...

Well they’re guaranteed 3pts in the penultimate game of the season - look at their opponents!
So picking up 3 draws in the other 14 games. yeah, I think they might scrape it.

Fancy them v Ipswich, Ipswich will be open and, as they showed against Utd, they can play through teams. Just need to find a way to finish.

If they beat Burnley in the Cup and we beat Bournemouth, and then we get drawn against each other for the 5th round, the worst PL team ever may well end up beating us in the League, FA Cup and League Cup, plus winning the very last game at GP!

This was a fair one. Today was always a decent chance for them but had they lost, they were in real danger of it.

Rough one for them yesterday losing 4-0 at home to Brighton. Chelsea and the shite away next.

You'd imagine if they pick up 3 points then it'll have to come from these four matches:

Wolves, Palace and Fulham home games
Leicester away

Still on. Tough defeat today.

Palace, Villa, Fulham, Man City and Arsenal remaining home games. Leicester away still on the list.

I'm sure Everton is the last club you'd expect to have their big day scuppered by the worst ever PL team.
