Flamengo vs Chelsea has been pretty spicy so far. Ref letting a fair few things go. Chelsea up 1-0 via Neto.

Chelsea look stronger in attack with Neto and Delap there. They've looked threatening on a few occasions.

As much as I like the tennis, the golf and many other sports, if any football is on, I'll watch it over any other sport regardless of level. I'm hooked on football.

(I won't be paying for it though, I'll be streaming any games not on Channel 5).
I've not watched any of it so far.

Delap would have been a hero within weeks of being here if we signed him.

And its still HT 2 hours later?

Flamengo vs Chelsea 2-1 to Flamengo now, scored twice in about 5 mins.

Fun game.

Chelsea full on implosion now it would seem, Jackson comes in and gets a straight red. Haven't seen it back yet. Ouch, yeah studs up that was poor. He was on for about 5 mins.

Results seem to me like European teams clearly aren't that bothered

I think there is something that they're doing it after a full season...but games I've watched it feels like they've been trying. So much prize money means the clubs are pretty motivated.

The standard of the South American teams though has honestly been really pretty high, and I think as we see with World Cups that the climate really does matter. It's hot af in many of these locations and I think there is some degree of understanding how to play in these conditions also to factor in.

Generally though, it seems like teams have been trying to me at least.

Bayern vs Benfica decent game, about 20 mins left. Benfica currently winning 1-0.

Will say amongst a lot of the crap new things I do quite like the referee cam. It's kinda cool to see the POV from the pitch.

Wow that's some own goal.

Juve vs Man City. Defender slots it home like he was a striker.

One of those I didn't realise where we went moments, our ex-player Allan playing for Botafogo in the round of 16 right now vs Palmeiras.

Bit of a crap game though so far.

I think they just said Chelsea will get like 10 million quid just for going into the next round of this. So like x5 the amount for winning the FA cup.

Not skewing finances at all though.

I genuinely don't know anybody watching this tournament, even people I know that are mad about football. Seems like there's zero interest for this in the UK.

I know it'll be billed as a success no matter what but still.

Should be so easy to say that any money from this tournament isn’t included in PSR calculations, but the PL haven’t got the balls to do it
