If you’re a member he should be able to just email it to you, or transfer it on the site using your membership number.
This is what it was like last season but it might have changed.
I don't have a membership through Everton yet but plan on getting one.
He's just sent me them via my email then and I've downloaded them to my Google wallet.
Do they check for ID or anything of that nature as they have his name on, or could I just scan and go in. Just don't want to look like an idiot showing up.

It’s a bit long winded but explains how your mate can transfer to you.

To be honest I’m not sure if you have to be a member for this game so if not you should be sound as that’s what I used to do before the membership came in and my mates never had an issue.
If its in your wallet, you've got your ticket and you're going the game.
When individual tickets are bought they can be emailed and then you download them. These are easier to share then sending your season ticket to someone.
My son got mine for me on his season ticket, but because it was a friendly it couldn’t be shared like a normal match day ticket, all I had to was phone up, explain the situation ( he is actually backpacking around Asia and Australia so wasn’t lying to them) and they cancelled his and automatically sent it to me. I do have a membership though.
But if it’s loaded on your wallet then sounds like you’re good to go.
UTFT!!!!
Saw this linked to on X - appears to be tickets available from £80 ish for some games - so would be cheaper for a one off game or two without the membership / lottery /expense / hassle ?
I was successful in applying for tickets for the Brighton game - money went onto my credit card and in my Everton account purchase history I can see the seat numbers and price. However, I’m still not able to download the tickets from the Everton app. I can see that two tickets are there, but when I click download I get an error message (after a long wait). Just checking that this is the case for other people?

The app never works for me. Just goes around in a circle then comes up blank on the my tickets bit. On the website, it says no upcoming games as well. Only record of my purchase (although I got on resale, not through the ballot) is through the purchase history.
I emailed the club about it on Monday but have had nothing back. Then realise they're putting "It may take up to 21 days to respond to your query" on emails now which is farcical.
I'd get in touch with the club about it if I were you.
Mine show up that I have them on my tickets, but no physical one that can be sent to my apple wallet yet, I think that’s probably normal and we’ll get them closer to the game.
