What? We don't do kneejerk reactions around here?!

Seriously though, he had a terrible game. Next time he has a good game there will be people saying that he was amazing and we should stick with him. Rinse and repeat ad infinitum.

Doesn't matter either way, he was absolutely fucking shit regardless of if he played 60 mins or 85.

To put the vast majority of blame for a player not even trying to compete on the manager seems like an odd angle to take.

Thats next summers issue. No point in discussing it now.
Think McNeil will get the same fate.

If you can see it and I can see it and there's a like for like sub then it's absolutely mainly on the manager

No it's on the player to at least try and perform, the sub issue is completely separate.

Oh I don't disagree with but there was a simple solution which moyes didn't take

In Beto’s defence , Mondays performance wasn’t typical of him so hopefully that was just a one off.

Just seemed to me that his head was down for whatever reason the other night, didn’t have the same fight that he would usually have

The lack of control and rough edges to his game maybe I would expect more, but Beto is usually all heart and fight so was odd to see that side of his game missing

Painful viewing on Monday. He looked levels below those Leeds centre halves marking him. Would love an Italian club to come in for him for 20 million.

It’s a shit market to try and replace a striker right now as a lot of clubs are also looking after losing their own (Brentford, Newcastle etc) and most have already moved

You're also not getting a decent striker for the money we have to spend this late in the window
