The yellow card was infuriating, wasn't even stopping an attack. Second time hes had a pointless yellow early on and fucked himself.

Turning into a disaster this, I've seen this show too many times at Everton.

For starters why didn't we buy a striker with pace?

2 poor, out of form and low on confidence strikers in the squad.

Criminal decision by Moyes to take him off when he did. For all the talk about new strikers and loans etc, he’s what we’ve got here and now and Moyes is not handling the here and now well.

Even the commentators were saying he’d had a good game and looked a threat. This was definitely the game to let him try and play through it.

Only 114 appearances in his career before he came to us, but 55 goals - 11 in 35 appearances last season for Villarreal. The lad can score goals, but strikers are animals that live on confidence and Moyes is starving him right now.

He may come good, he may not, he may be a decent striker in the PL, he may not.

I just don't think Everton and Barry are a good match for where they both are at the moment.

His head went after the miss, got a stupid booking and looked frustrated. Did okay first 1/2 hour but thought his reaction and attitude after the miss was poor, deserved to be hooked.

Moyes won’t like the way he ambles around the pitch. It may be a confidence thing or it may just be his style but his inability to want to hare around and press won’t endear himself to our dour manager.

As much as we need the fullbacks sorted, I’d prioritise a number nine in January.
we are not loaning a £30m striker out ffs.

Lets just get rid of the crap manager and employ a young, progressive coach who wants to improve young players. Moyes isn't the right coach for the players we have now

Im sick of moyes but also think its an incredible leap to assume the major problem with dibbling Barry and aznou is moyes. The truth is all evidence points to them not being currently good enough. This problem started with shocking recruitment

How many did Barry score last season? Was Aznou massively rated at Bayern?

A leopard never changes its spots. We've all seen this story before with Moyes.

Last night was a disgrace by Moyes re. Barry. Just a way to kill any confidence the lad has. Strikers miss chances. Would Silva or Lampard have dragged him off and blamed him?

I still maintain if he wasn't on a yellow he would have gotten more time I think.

I'd still start Barry from here on in, hope that a goal brings confidence and a change in form.

Bad miss as it was but he is showing so much more than Beto on the ball has to be trusted and played more

I don't see what Moyes thinks he's achieving by chopping and changing them all the time, swapping at half time or just after and calling them out all the time. Give one of them an hour, or 70 minutes and give him a run in the team, constantly pulling them off then calling them out is ruining their confidence and you can see that in their play. He's managed them both really badly in my opinion.

I honestly think strikers are Moyes' biggest weakness and he's showing it again here, regardless of Barry & Beto's limitations.

I feel like his best spell with us worked because we got goals from across the entire team, with our strikers being less productive in part because the way he sets us up relies on them working for the team. It's almost the opposite of what Carlo did with Dom.

It is all starting to feel a bit Moise Kean to me. Moyesie isn’t keen for sure.

The team news in future should just be an announcement of who's getting 60 and who's getting the 30. The other 10 positions won't change
