I don't mind Monday night games, especially away ones.

I'm predicting Keane's first bad game of the season here.

We'll compete for 30 minutes, the crowd will turn on them, then we'll give up a howler (insert keane) and look intimidated and out of place. That won't change until the last 10 when Moyes will finally make the changes we need, but it'll be too late and we'll lose the game having created just as many chances but without the ability to finish them off.

United will then lose 2 of their next 3 against teams we need to stay above.

I reckon there’s a decent chance for a draw here.

United can basically only score on the counter and Moyes will have us camped in our own half pinging balls at Beto on his todd.

It’ll be a terrible watch but we might get a nil nil

You’re probably right. Just fucking hate sitting back for 90 and watching teams try to unpick us.
You give any team enough ground and it gives them confidence and control - remember at Wolves? 🤮

It’s just setting up not to lose, it’s not setting up to win, and if you bet the house on not letting one in - if you do you’re fucked because you’re in no position to attack.

I think at this point it's like a defence mechanism.

If I'm disappointed before we've even lost, things can't get worse but might get better.

I'd definitely go if I were in the area - should turn into a decent earner for any away TV games.

Trying to keep the money inside, at the possible expense of local trade. I expect the queues will eventually deter punters because it will be packed

I don’t know how many people will fancy going down there on a Monday night tbh.

another earner for the club - what could be better - beers with fellow evertonians and a lancashire meat gravy pie (all ingredients made within a 30 mile radius) at halftime
the atmosphere will always be great as it is on our new sacred bramley moore ground
great
