I wouldn't get carried away yet.
We haven't put together a run all season so not betting in it now.
Nice away win again. Need to sort out the home form though.
The home form is a worry but, I don’t think it’s carried away to say we are safe in January and on course to finish somewhere between 8th and 14th. Did we truly expect better? As fans, we will always want more, Europe is only 3 points away, the CL is a mere 4 points away. As a club, guaranteed in the league next season, as far up the table as possible, have a good summer.
fantastic win for the blues
a draw would have been great but this is now the BEST result this season
well done the lads so proud and happy
ps
when we win i always play mr blue sky by ELO - fuckin love that song

Crazy result given their home form. And I'm so scarred that I still think every game at Villa Park will end up 6-2.
1989, first time I saw us play live. I still have nightmares
Brilliant result there, all the lads put a shift in and it was definitely deserved. Big shouts to Patto and McNeill was good to see them play well and it will help their confidence. To be fair there wasn't a bad performance on the pitch in blue. Job was collosal at centre half got to keep that back 4 until Jared is back anyway.
Going to go back and read this whole thread now to live vicariously through your comments! I did turn the game on at 81 mins - saw we were winning - went “Oh shit! Fuck me!” And turned it off immediately, so if they came close to equalising around the 81st-82nd minute, sorry - that was on me, but lesson learned!

So you’ve probably all had a shitload of likes for your insights, callouts and recipes but I did enjoy reading all that.
Great to hear Patto doing well and Rohl too.
Made up for Barry - took his goal very well according to the highlights and Moyes seems to have set us up well as some posters have said - he really is a backs to the wall manager.
Sounds like a great win and another performance by JOB that has got me dreaming of the day our two starting CBs are JOB and Branthwaite. It’s not far off kids!

One thing Garner has added recently is this turn hes doing where he looks like hes going to play it back to the defence and he does a nice tight turn upfield.
Been nice to see him get better this season.
Oh and this one - I think little Jimmy Gardner has played everyone here. Spent the entire first half of the season going backwards, just so’s he could surprise everyone by going forward in the second half of the season!
