I think you're all massively underestimating what Villa's owners have done as they've done the hardest part for sustainable growth really well - growing their revenue.

2020 their revenue was about £130m - for last year it was £450m.

Well that’s not bad for their first 12 months in charge, add to that re financing of short term debt which was costing us £1m per month in interest in their first quarter, securing events like the RL Ashes test, Rl Super Weekend, Brazil v Scotland match plus other events in the first year of an unproven stadium is no mean achievement
Overall I’m more than satisfied with them.

Agreed. Was always going to be a journey to get us back to a decent place again on and off the park. Satisfied with how it’s gone so far

Completely agree with this.
we are only 14 points behind our total for the entirety of last season.

Season after season we've been in a fight to beat the drop...
Under TFG we are not battling relegation. JB, Garner and Pickford have signed new deals, cash was splashed and we got Jack Grealish on loan.

I've no real problem with us not signing more this window but a year with these fullbacks is a big question mark on their judgement.
