We are deffo getting the better end of the deal.

He gives us pace and directness which we severely lack.

He plays rw mainly, which is strange in the modern game, as he’s right footed

If this window has taught us anything, it’s that we simply don’t have the finances to buy top talent that will make a guaranteed impact. I didn’t expect us to be in the market for £100m players, but I had hoped we’d be in the £40m one. Alas, we’re back to wheeling and dealing and taking punts.

Yep it's been apparent for most of the summer that we can't chase top talent, and every deal has to be negotiated hard to bring the price down as much as possible.

I think if we end the summer with Ndaiye still here, and the following players added we've managed to wheel and deal well enough to improve the team / squad, even if it's not the leap forward we'd have all hoped for:

Hackney
Norgaard
George
Johnson
AWB

Add in a year of growth and experience at this level for Rohl, Barry, Armstrong and Dibling, and it's giving us a half decent squad to work with (should Moyes actually use it).

It's not amazing, but it's fairly smart business for a club with limited spending ability.

If I’m a Palace fan, I’m asking “what’s in it for us?”

Moyes is playing this lad up top. He’s his 2026 Andy Johnson

If we can get this version of him then we'd have someone who had the best off the ball movement, and best finishing in the entire squad.

I'll reserve judgement on him until I've seen him play for us.

Now go and swap Mykolenko for Lewis Hall please.

Less technical Walcott is a perfect description, honestly.

Spurs fans didn’t rate him. Palace fan’s don’t rate him.

You would have to hope he gets off to a good start otherwise we’ll have an expensive squad player who won’t get much game time here too.

Went to school with Brennan's dad, played in teams with and against him before he went on to sign for utd and play for Forest and Ipswich. Still say hello to his maternal Uncle when I see him, nice family. His dad was by far the best player I ever played with or against.

That irrelevance aside, I think his lad would bring some much needed pace as an option for us, still a decent age plus stops us spending on wingers and allows us to focus on other areas.

Plus he is Welsh. Always need a taff in a decent Everton side.

It's clear Palace really don't see this happening, or rate him at all as they really keen to get rid so quickly.

How many teams essentially wipe off that amount of money after 6 months? I'm struggling to see what their motivation is to take a big hit, other than the ridiculous wages for someone of his ability - which we will now pick up!!
He must have a stinking attitude and be a bit of a prick - only thing I can think
