He's wrong then. Speak to any Rangers fans or Scottish pundits, he's still held in high regard. 63 games and 13 goals over a couple of seasons.

In fairness he did predict the appointment of Billy Mcinlay and Alan Irvine the day before it was confirmed.

He looks like a 10 to me rather than a striker. Good ball control, calm, nice pass on him, but also has an eye for goal. Not sure I would want him on his own right up against centre half’s up top given he looks quite slow and small.

Remember when he was on Arsenal TV?

Sameule Ricci suggested by The Athletic. Not a bad shout based solely on this video, I guess.

I watched Igamane’s last match against Dundee Utd. He’s obviously got talent but he’s very raw. Half a dozen times he took a pot shot from the edge of the area that either went in the stands or was blocked. Each time he had runners either side of him he could’ve played-in or worked out wide and get in the middle for a cross. His teammates were going ape shit at him. Seems miles off, tbh. I’m sure he’d bury a few but his all-round play is non-existent - as you’d expect with someone with only a handful of senior games.

I’m still not sure if the lack of activity is due to Moyes being deliberate and considered… or we’ve got no money.

I know January isn’t the best time to buy, but you could easily upgrade every position at the club, bar keeper. Will be really disappointed if we don’t bring in any permanent deals.

It’s a no from me, can’t be having players taking a shit on the edge of the area !

Combination of a few things, from what I can tell :-

- Moyes coming in halfway through the month, and Thelwell having a set selection of targets already. Trying to sync those things up, while Moyes assesses our current players as quickly as he can
.
- Fresh injuries cropping up, changing priorities.

- Neither Moyes nor Thelwell wanting to invest significant amounts in short-term investments, and January being tricky to find long-term quality at a reasonable price.

- Having to work within £5-10m PSR wiggle room, and juggling the numbers in the most effective way to get value.

And then losing two starting eleven players for the season

I can’t remember which manager he was slagging off at the time. I’ll have a dig around on YouTube later to see if I can find it lol

Could have done without that forum comparing him to R9 and saying he’s like a cross between bergkamp and Henry.
