In my experience you can either do it or you can't, one lad I used to play with could throw it about 50 yards from the age of 13-14.

I was always terribly limp.

It just feels like with the analytics available now and how you can train a golf swing that training someone to be able to do long throws[With the current trend in favour of them] should be within reach, but no one seems to do it?

Feel sorry for Jack. The only other player that’s remotely comfortable on the ball is Garner who’s playing 20 yards behind him. Not a single baller in front or around him.
