Due to living in the South West I went to lots of away games in Birmingham, London, Southampton before my Dad took me up to Liverpool. So there is quite a big gap between my first game and my first Goodison game.
First game: Aston Villa 1-0 Everton (Yorke) 28/10/95
First Goodison: Everton 1-2 Villareal (Beattie - Figueroa, Josico) 09/08/2005
Sat in top balcony. Like watching subbuteo as a 7 year old
Forgot all about Whiteside, funnily I only really remember him for scoring THAT goal that stopped us getting the treble!

This was my first ever game. It was the live Sunday game and I had the piss ripped out of me at school the next day.

And you kept on supporting?! Nutter.
Honestly, once Everton has violated you, nothing will be the same.

I honestly dont know mine. I have vague memories of playing Sheffield Wednesday and missing all the goals because I wanted food, needed the toiler and left early. Looking at the fixtures maybe the 2-2 in 1995.
I also remember United beating us when I was very young. Goodison was empty as there were United fans sat behind us. They scored really early and my Dad just said 'I guess it's just that easy'
I have no idea when this was we lost to United a lot.
I also remember beating Wimbledon 4-0 maybe in a night game. This looks like 1999

Can't remember mine either. My dad and my uncle took me a lot when I was very little. My early memories are being in the stands, not really being able to see anything, so getting lifted up to see a lot, and the smell of ale, fags, piss and farts being pretty much ever-present.
My earliest clear memory of noticing a player at the match was watching Peter Beardsley overhead kick a crossfield pass, which would've been sometime in the early 90s. I went plenty of times before that, but I can't remember anything specific.
I also did watch the Villa 6-2 defeat on tele that was referenced above and cried my eyes out.

Glad I’m not the only one who can’t remember! Think my first game was in 1984-5 season. Got it fucking spoiled me! My dad got us season tickets. I was 7. It’s possible I went to some the season before too.
