Think the setup was good and there were lots of positives.
McNeal looked more comfortable in the 10, ndiaye looked great isolated up against the fullback and drew players towards him creating space for others. Tim was great for 80 minutes and I thought him and gueye had a nice balance.
We didn't try to force things, we made smart choices in the final third and could have scored 4 or 5 on another day.
Lots of positive signs from the initial plan.
Horrid final 10, where he made what I think were planned changes, rather than responding to what they were doing. I think he wanted to keep the pressure on their back four by bringing in more energy up top....just as they started playing kick and run and bypassed our press quicker.
Then we conceded and everyone's brains turned to fucking jello as usual

These blerts reckon he should have took DCL off sooner
Had DCL come off 20 mins soon I think Bournemouth would’ve hit double figures. What an awful shout.

I think...he maybe needs two wins out of
Villa
Leicester
Palace (h)
Newcastle (h)
If he doesn't get that I think he genuinely should be concerned, and that any other club would certainly sack him at that point.
Thoughts?

If we don’t get at least 6 points from that we will be in trouble our December fixtures are awful so need to get something on the board and our best team on the pitch echo said today Jared will not be back for villa so surely he has to play Jake alongside tark and try and shore it up a small bit

I think he’s immune.
He’s kept us up twice, and survived two points deductions.
He even avoided the sack when we didn’t win for 13 matches straight.

He needs 6 points from those. Villa will wipe the floor with us and considering we have not away from home since December Leicester will be tough. He'll set us up not to get beat.
Pressure will really crank up on those two home games after

You might be right tbh. His job is like it or not, 17th.
He talks increasingly I think like big Sam did post getting sacked, and I think you can tell exactly what he's going to be like once he's gone.
Did my job, not on me, did everything I could, nobody could do better.
I don't think he's interested in being liked or being part of the club, I think he's on PR For Post Everton mode really, and I can't blame him because I think it feels quite obvious the plan is going to be survive long enough for a new owner, who will want a new manager.

Still think his next job will be at Forest. His time here will probably get him a 3 or 4 year deal at his next job, so fair enough.

Only 12 players under contract in the summer and no manager and no DoF (I think Kev is out of contract too). Helluva lot of work to do and need a takeover yesterday to get our ducks in a row.

He hasn't harmed his reputation but he surely hasn't furthered it
