Our glorious regional mayor said they didn't know for certain the stadium was going to be built until earlier this year.

Despite, you know, the gut of a honking great stadium that was sat there.

When are the tickets for the final test event going on sale and will season ticket holders be able to buy their own seat ?

Quite funny really isn’t it
Filling the dock in in 2021 would’ve been a slight hint

Goodison is really easy to access via public transport, as is anfield, due to the fact they both have regular bus services that cover all the city.
There are bus routes to the new stadium too though aren't there? Everyone seems to be getting worked up about the trains.

There’s no bus links to the new stadium which means more people will be getting the train as it’s the only transport link to the ground. Not to mention the lack of parking.

They’re putting on shuttle buses but that’s a lot different to actual transport links connecting the whole city which is what Goodison has. The shuttle bus system didn’t work at the last test event. I went to get one half an hour before kick off and the queue was right round at George’s hall. People just ended up walking.

The train will be the main mode of transport for people. People are worked up because Sandhills station can’t hold a lot of people. All it takes is one cancellation for it to become chaotic.

Our trains don’t work properly on a normal day. When thousands of people are relying on them as their only way away from the ground it becomes a massive problem.

Ah fair enough then, I had naively assumed that the bus routes were working and the train was to be on top of not instead of

The docks are just off a big main road thats busy all the time, let alone a match day. Plus the fact every fucking road is closed on match day round there, and that you cant park within 20 miles of the ground, its crazy!!!!

At the test match, half capacity, it was chaos.

Big dilemma for me is where to stay now, Premier Inn Queens drive was ideal for GP, secure parking and value for money room. No idea where to stay for BMD and certainly no parking. Stayed at the Titanic for test event but rate was more than reasonable but match days now fully booked and £300 for a room if you can get one.

Yeah, the lack of a plan is putting me off coming for the Roma game - it's a 4 hour drive for us, and there's no certainty yet on which scallies are going to look after your car for a tenner etc. yet. Might leave it to later in the season once things settle down a bit. Mind you, it's not that far to walk from the usual car parks.
