This is no good at all. Do not like that disparaging use of 'the old lady' there.
He's got one note, lower expectations and drudge through, and it's stopped working.
Yep. Turned out that way hasn’t it.
Head fell off when people thought maybe we could be half decent this season.

Clinging on to the hope that they won’t sack him whilst he’s travelling back on the long journey from Bournemouth. Fingers crossed for the morning
I was thinking that a few moments ago as well. Logically, they won't sack him over the phone. If it's happening it'll be tomorrow or Monday.

I'm just hoping there's activity in the background, sounding out new managers. A decision needs making sooner rather than later or it may be too late for the next manager to implement his ideas and change the mindset of the players
If there is background activity I hope none of it is in Sir Gareth’s direction but have a horrible feeling our new owners might think that’d be quite a catch

Doubt Soutgate would take it anyway. Won't happen.

I still think if TFG can find an excuse to keep him they will. I think they would prefer to hold off on big decisions.
The cost of dropping into the Championship far outweighs the cost of legging this ginger cunt all the way back to the rock he crawled out of.
The Friedkins are business people. They will do whatever it takes to protect the brnd new asset that they have just put a massive investment into. If that means telling ginger pubes to fucking leg it, then so be it.
If the unthinkable happens and we find ourselves in the Championship next season, there's no guarantees that we would be able to claw ourselves back up. That is the real jeopardy. If our new owners thought for one second that relegation would be an opportunity to reset and come back stronger, they would absolutely take that. However, that's not how the Championship works and I'm pretty sure they know that.
They won't hesitate in fucking him off if that's the best way to protect their investment. Same goes for Thelwell.

Is it right that each position in the premier league is worth £3m in prize money?
If so sacking him and finishing even 2 places higher would offset any compensation we have to pay Dyche. Fairly confident we'd do that at minimum so think any reason not to sack him has very much disappeared.

Feel he has a few more bad results in him before we sack him.

Beginning of a new year but same shit with a having a manager performing abysmally and on the verge of being sacked as we look to get ourselves out of the relegation zone.
I’m hoping the Friedkins can break this cycle and show that at least they are a bit more competent than the Moshiri regime.

An FA Cup defeat to Peterborough probably would see him gone I think , though I worry if we beat them then it will buy him more time
All our fixtures look tough now
Think we will quite possibly go down either way but I’m convinced we are gone if Dyche stays
We aren’t gonna turn into a side that wins even semi regularly with him in charge

Most worried I’ve been about us going down at this stage of the season.
I don’t know why, it just has a terrible feel about it.
I think that’s the dyche effect though. He just sucks the life out of everything.

We defo go down if he isn't sacked.
Just hope if he is sacked then it isn't too late.

We'll get a draw against Spurs and beat Leicester probably. None of it enjoyable. Probably get a 0-0 at Palace after that.
He'd get the points and the odd win out of nowhere because that's a trend throughout. The issue is that we'll never look like winning any of those draws or particularly aim to do so.
My main worry is that if you're a player then you're bored as fuck with him and this way of playing. I do think the squad have shown plenty of fight for the shirt (some may disagree) in recent years to turn up when truly needed though.

To the people thinking if we lose to Peterborough he will be sacked
We are not loosing this match sorry
I've got tickets to that match and we have won every game I've ever been to at goodison
Granted it's been a few years since I've been so that maybe explains why we don't win anything atm
