One of those I'll believe when there is the official signing video. The type of thing where Spurs or someone could just gazump us at the last minute once agreements are made so the price is set. Not that I think they need him, but just because a lot of these clubs just like to stockpile.

Still slightly excited about this one but also it's very Everton to make a big expensive signing like this one feel less so due to the protracted negotiations and everyone debating in the meantime about if he's actually going to be shit.

He's quick and we don't have any of that so at least he'll immediately add something we lack. Time will tell whether he is worth his value but at least it's filling a position we actually really need

In the scheme of things 20% is yonks down the line. If we make 40mill on him it means he’s turned into a megastar, rode that ride to stardom with him and have to fork out 8mill while banking 32 of it as profit for the privilege.
